The Wagner Early Learning Center (WELC) hosted a fun student/parent activity last Friday. Parents were invited to come to the preschool and help their student make homecoming posters for this week’s homecoming. There was a great turnout of parents who were able to come and join in the fun of helping their little ones decorate posters that will be hung around WCS this week. Great job to all our Little Red Raiders, parents, and staff!

Sharon Haar attended the Volunteer Recognition Ceremony for 2023-2024 on August, 9th. At the ceremony, Sharon was one of 21 volunteers recognized for their volunteer services. The volunteers were celebrated with a ceremony, yearly training, luncheon and finally award presentation.
Read moreThe City of Wagner held their monthly city council meeting on Wednesday, September 4th at 6 p.m. at the Wagner Armory. Some of the bigger topics discussed at that meeting were Nathan Kafka’s request to amend the ETJ boundary to exclude 80 acres that once was Fischer Farms, East River Horizons request to place the Buffalo statuaries at Wagner Lake, request to purchase portable swim lane bulkheads for the city pool, and updates to McCormick Ball Park fence.
