The holiday season is fast approaching and the Bon Homme Food Pantry needs your help to continue to assist individuals/families in need with a Christmas meal. He attended basic and quartermaster/food service school at Fort Chaffee, AR. MountwasachefintheArmy. At the time that Mount was drafted,hewaslivinginGary andwasarancher. TheArmy bussed Ronnie from Watertown to Fort Chaffee for his training.
Read moreFor the past several months there has been a construction project going on near Dollar General and the tribal housing east of Lake Andes. Menning Excavating Inc of Mitchell has been replacing a main water line that will take rural water and water from the water tower out to the housing. The existing pipe was replaced with a PVP pipe. The project was not a city project, but one financed by Indian Health Services (IHS). The project is almost complete, with the next part of the project which has currently begun being the building of an upgraded lift station on the edge of the tribal housing also being done by Menning Excavating.
