Lucy Leines, Owner of Stems and Cells, deserves recognition for her generous idea to supply prom dresses and accessories to local girls in our community. She had dresses come in from Sioux Falls, Rapid City and Lennox and other area towns. Lucy states 'This community is so generous and our mission was to make sure every young lady felt special and beautiful for prom and I think we accomplished it for the 25 plus young ladies that came to shop. Wagner and South Dakota have some of the most salt of the earth people that will come together and help each other out and that is what I love about our community.' Over 25 girls from the surrounding area have taken advantage of the dresses and accessories. If you are still in need of a dress or any other accessories please stop in and take advantage her selection, she is open 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday. The positive effects of online learning are flexibility, reduced cost, and more free time you have to spend on other things that you have going on. Personally, I think online learning is harder to comprehend the knowledge that you are taking in. Online learning makes it more difficult to ask your teacher questions on your assignments that you have. Some other negative effects of online learning are that students use more screen time, and some students have a screen time limit. Also, online learning may not work for some students because some parents can’t afford WIFI. Some student’s parents can’t afford devices that the students can do their assignments on. In addition, some kids get bad grades from online learning and they may not be able maintain their grades because of not asking teachers the question that they for them.
