The master of ceremony for the event was Gerald Zephier and stickman was Darrell Zephier. The event was held at the WCS auxiliary gym. Cultural Coordinator, Jimmy Sanchez was the organizer of the kahomni. Traditionally a kahomni dance was a dance that consisted of two people that two stepped to songs specifically made for the dance. It was a dance that was traditionally a way for young men to show respect to young women whom they were publicly courting with little contact. In recent years, the kahomni has been used as more of a social dance and gathering. They had a great turn out of participants and it was a fun evening had by all.
