Scholarships are awarded annually to Seniors who have applied for the scholarships and have successfully completed the requirements for graduation. This scholarship program provided by the American Legion Greer Post #11 is designed to assist promising senior students as they continue their education.

Also in attendance were three of our four scholarship winners; Presley Slaba, Carter Smejkal and Lydia Yost. They all stood and thanked the Legion and gave a brief synopsis of their future plans. A round of applause was given to tonight’s cooks. Chaplain Don Kotab then gave the invocation. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all followed by the Preamble to the Constitution of the American Legion. Commander Clayton Rados then called the meeting to order.

They ask you to wear a poppy and honor every American who has died in the line of duty, served or serving our United States. Honor the fallen. Support the living.
