MARK 14: 60,61,62 (60) ' And the High Priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus saying, Answerth thou nothing? what is it that these witness against thee?
(61) But he held his peace, and answered nothing.Again the High Priest ashed him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
(62) And Jesus said I AM; And ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.'( KJV) Up until it came to VERSE 62 Jesus did not speak a word to the High Priest that was questioning Him, but when it came time to speak---Jesus answered first with two words--He said I AM.
These are the same words that He used when He told Moses to tell Pharaoh that His name is I AM.
Then Jesus proceeded to tell the High Priest what was also important at this questioning session--He said--You shall see the Son of Man ( The Christ-God with us ) sitting on the right hand of Power ( The Father in Heaven) and coming in the clouds of heaven--(The Rapture) Jesus could hold His silence no longer, He spoke out and told the truth about Himself and of the coming event.
It may come a day that the question could be put to us, and it could be soon. ' Do you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Very Son of God--and in His promise to return?'
That question is asked now of people in Russia, Africa, China, and other places just before they would kill them if their answer to their question is 'YES' boldly 'YES' Jesus knew that His death was just hours away, and He said I AM.
If you knew that your death could be immediate and your fear of death is real---will you still answer 'YES' to the question?
If your belief is strong you will be able to answer 'YES'boldly.
Remember PROVERBS 3:5,6 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not unto thine own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your path>' (KJV) Think about it---Will you say ,yes?
