SEMESTER TESTS CONCLUDE FIRST HALF OF SCHOOL YEAR
With semester testing right around the corner, students have started cramming all the knowledge they have learned in the past 18 weeks. Semester tests are a very critical part of any student’s education.
Semester tests, also known as finals, are required by every high school student in all core classes such as mathematics, science, and English. Depending on which elective classes a student takes, they may have a semester test in that class. Hanna Miller (11) has four semester tests, and she said that the hardest semester test is going to be in Algebra II. Jaden Stahl (10) also has four semester tests, and he said that the hardest subject for him to take a semester test in is chemistry. Doing well on semester tests is very important for your grades, and it gives the teachers a good idea of where each student is on the curriculum.
The school year includes two semesters. The first semester is from when we start school to Christmas break. Before Christmas break, the first round of semester tests are taken. The second semester is from after Christmas break to the end of the school year. Before school gets out in May, the second round of semester tests are taken.
