NAGELS GATHER FOR TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS
As the countdown to Christmas is getting shorter, the plans with families are started. Our usual Christmas tradition of getting all the siblings together and having a big supper. Then we sit down in the living room and open all of our presents on Christmas Eve. After all the presents are open, we do a white elephant gift exchange with just the siblings. The gift idea is based on the letter of the alphabet my dad puts on the cow tags. This year our letter is H.
On Christmas morning, everybody usually comes back to our house, and we open our stockings and have breakfast. On December 26, we used to go to my mom’s side of the family for lunch but, since COVID is happening, we will not be having a gathering there this year. So, since there isn't a gathering at my grandma’s house, we will be going to my dad’s side for supper and opening gifts from my grandpa.
