LIBRARY NEWS
The book sale at the library is officially concluded. We sold approximately 400 books. We are keeping some of the books at the library, but many are going to have to leave the premises, because of storage restrictions. If you know of anyone who could use older books please contact us at the library (487-7524)
We have received two non-fiction books which I hope our patrons would enjoy reading. The first is “In Pieces” a memoir by Sally Field. In this intimate, hauntingmemoir, an American icon tells her story for the first time, opening up about a challenging and lonely childhood, the craft which helped her find her voice, and a powerful emotional legacy that shaped her journey as a daughter and a mother.
The second selection is “Fear, Trump in the White House” by Bob Woodward. Woodward has reported White House goings on through eight presidencies, from Nixon to Obama. This book reveals in unprecedented detail the harrowing life inside President Donald Trump’s White House and precisely how he make decisions on major foreign and domestic policy. The title “Fear” comes from a quote from Donald Trump during a March 31, 2016 interview while running for President of the U.S. He is quoted as saying “Real power is ---I don’t even want to use the word –fear.”
Library hours are 1-5 Monday- Saturday and 1-7 Wednesday.
