The open enrollment period for signing up for Medicare Part D (prescription drugs) and enroll-ment for supplemental plans to Medicare opened on October 15 and closes on Dec. 7th, 2025. SHINE stands for Senior Health Information & Insurance Education. What is SHINE? It is a pro-gram which is federally funded, provides free, unbiased information to help those in need get the most out of their Medicare benefits.
