As we move into the season of fall, we may start turning to activities we can do indoors, such as reading, watching a favorite DVD, putting together a puzzle or starting a new craft idea. The library can help you with all of these activities.
Did you know that the library has a collection of books written by South Dakota authors? The library has books read for generations such as The Little House on the Prairie series, by Laura Ingalls Wilder, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, Giants in the Earth by Ole Rolvaag and newer generation authors such as Sandra Brannum who wrote Widow’s Might, and Noah's Rainy Day both mysteries based in Deadwood, Lou Raguse, Vanished in Vermillion: The Real Story of South Dakota’s Most Infamous Cold Case, and Robert Sebesta , Early Churches in South Dakota: A Lasting Legacy- just to name a few.
