The American Legion Auxiliary Greer Post #11, Wagner, SD nominee for Unit Member of the year 2023 is Jeanette Fuchs.

Jeanette Fuchs is eligible for membership through her husband Kenneth. She has been a member of Greer Post # 11 Auxiliary at Wagner for three years. She is currently serving as secretary.

Jeanette helps with our annual spring soup and sandwich luncheon which is our biggest money-making project of the year. She is a great asset in the kitchen helping to make the potato and chicken noodle soups. She donates items for the bake sale and assists wherever needed. She willingly donates her time and talents whenever called upon. Mrs. Fuchs is an asset to our organization, ready to help wherever asked, even when it is cleaning our post kitchen.

Jeanette represents Greer Unit at the Wagner Cancer Rummage sale which is held bi-annually to benefit local cancer victims. She donates many hours to this project.

Mrs. Fuchs also sells tickets for the Post’s annual sweepstakes drawing. Jeanette takes her turn at the monthly meetings cooking the meal in addition to assisting other members when it is their turn to plan and cook the meal.

Mrs. Fuchs is a very energetic and enthusiastic member of Greer Unit #11. Congratulations on being the Wagner Legion Auxiliary’s Member of the Year, Jeanette and thank you for all your service to the organization and community.
