Dusti Laska received awards this month for completing a successful 2019 barrel racing season. She competes in the National Barrel Horse Association barrel races that take place at various locations in this area of the state throughout the year. Points are kept during the year for this district/area. Dusti and her horses Ty and Roxy captured the 1st place title in the Youth (ages 18 and under) 1, 3, 4 and 5D (division). They were the reserve championinthe2DYouthdivision as well. Together the team of Ty and Dusti were also able capture the reserve champion title for the Open (ages 18 and over) in the 2D and 3D divisions. For her efforts she received a custom belt buckle, a leather bag and leather covered journal.

Dusti is the daughter of Jason and Joni Laska of Lake Andes. She is the granddaughter of Larry and Noreen Laska of Lake Andes, and Rex and Tracy Pfaff of Bonesteel.
