Avon took the match by scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-20, and 25-17. After splitting the first two sets, the Lady Pirates found their rhythm in the third, led by aggressive net play and steady defense. Avon’s offense was powered by Rilyn Thury, who recorded an impressive 24 kills, and Kaydence Metzger, who added 19. From the service line, Avon showed consistency and pressure throughout the night. Thury notched 4 aces, while Brielle Voigt contributed 3. Defensively, the Lady Pirates dug deep—literally—to keep rallies alive.
