PROVERBS 30:5,6 'Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.'(KJV) PSALM 12:8 'The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.'(KJV) PSALM18:30,31,32 As for God, His way is perfect: the Word of the Lord is tried, He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him. For who is God save the Lord? or who is a Rock save our God? It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.'(KJV) REVELATION 22:18 'For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.'(KJV) These Scriptures are telling us that God is true, His Words are true, He is our buckler. We should always trust in His Word.

The Scriptures say that the Lord is tried. This is saying that temptations to fail or sin against Him are all around us every day. But God's Grace is sufficient for us to turn away from any and all temptation.

When the Scriptures tell us that He is our buckler, it means that the Word of God is what we should be fastened to. We must trust in God's Word, all of it, every Word.

We will see in His Word that His Word is perfect, because He is perfect.

Some think that they can change God's Word to suit themselves but they need to refer to REVELATION 22:18 again.

God says His Words will outlast heaven and the Earth. Basically, leave it alone. He inspired every Word in the Bible.

Since His Word is truth we can trust in it for all the advice we will ever need for instruction to please Him.

He gave us His Word to know it, to study it so we can be totally blessed by Him by following every Word and living by His Word.
