Just Thought I'd Ask
WHAT VISION ARE YOU GETTING?
11 TIMOTHY 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." (KJV)
PSALMS 33:4 "For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth." (KJV)
There are many books out there that indicate that they are, the Bible. Many have been translated over and over and revised through the process. This then gives a person that reads them a close rendition to the truth but some by re-translating, bring out less of a truth than was expected by the reader.
If you are driving your car you will be using your rear view mirror to show what is behind you. This image is the true picture of where you are in traffic and what is behind you. You believe the vision in the mirror and make your decision what you will do next from that vision. This vision is real, it is truth and you can depend on it fully, as accurate.
Now on the other side of your car there is another mirror. This mirror lets you see an image that is behind you, as the left mirror does but this mirror image is not as it seems to be. It even has printed on it that the images may be closer than they appear giving but not depicting a true picture for you, close but not a true image.
God's Bible was given by inspiration of God, telling us that his Word is true and will lead you to righteousness.
Now some bibles are written by men who think they can do a better job of the bible than God did. Some leave out words, some change words, consequently changing the meaning of the scripture which give an impression that they are true, but so does the right hand mirror on your car. Be sure you are using the right inspired Bible. Others have been warned about God's Word.
MATTHEW 22:35 " Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." (KJV) No need to re-write them.
Beware of those re-written bibles, for what ever reason they say they are necessary.
Look at REVELATION 22:18,19 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book."(KJV)
Be sure that you have the true vision you are getting from the Bible you are reading, the truth or almost the truth. I personally use the King James 1611 Bible.
