FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS COME TOGETHER TO SUPPORT THE VAN DUYSEN FAMILY
A tragic accident Sunday, October 28 left a hole in the hearts of many as they learned of the accident that took the lives of the two youngest children of the Michael and Breannah Van Duysen family.
While the community may be small, their hearts are big and their support for one another runs deep as evident of the out-pouring of donations for the Van Duysen benefit held Saturday in Dante.
A spaghetti benefit supper was held at the Dante CCD Center followed by a live and silent auction at the Dante Auditorium with Weston Frank performing.
Tables filled the Auditorium with donated gift baskets, homemade crafted items and baked goods, tools, game tickets, guided fish trips, and so much more for the silent auction. Guns, business services, bales and more were donated for the live auction. All with hopes of easing the burden for the Van Duysen family.
The turn out was massive at both events as they were filled to capacity.
