JAMES 1: 12,13,14 (120) Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for he will be tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
(13) Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: For God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
(14) But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.'(KJV) Temptations always come from the influences of Satan, and falling for Satan's influences will lead a person into sin---which God hates.
Rejecting Satan's influences to turn you away from God is the right thing to do and our scripture says-blessed is the man that endureth temptations, ot overcometh it.
If you are a saved--child of God--God has a scripture that will help in time of temptations JAMES 4:7,8 (7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (8) Draw nigh (close) to God. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your heart, ye double minded.' (KJV) Not only will he flee from you, but the Lord will bless you for resisting the devil's temptations.
Be sure that you know that the temptations in your life---do not come from God.
There are some things that God cannot do--He cannot lie, He cannot break His promises, He cannot tempt you to do evil.
You will not have to care about your circumstances if you follow what is said in JAMES 1:22 'Be ye doers of the Word (THE BIBLE) and not hearers only, deceiving your selves.'(KJV) You want to be pleasing to God--than don't just hear His Word---but put it into practice in your life. The more you do the harder it is for Satan to get you to follow his influences.
Listen to God's Word, Believe God's Word, and Receive God's blessings for doing it.
Are you just hearing God's Word?
