The October Chamber Meeting was held at Two Spurs onOctober 15.

Approval of Minutes: First: Marla, Second: Cheryl.

Sales Tax Review: The money collected each month is for the previous month’s sales.

Chamber Dues Increase: Kelsey has a new schedule put together. We have not increased dues for a few years. So, Kelsey went with the suggested 5% increase. Motion to approve Becky, Second, Katie. Motion passed.

Rooster Rush: Kelsey will be putting together some goodie bags of various items that were donated and some Wagner goodies to drop off at different places to hand out to the hunters.

Holiday Bucks Promo: Last year we approved up to $60,000 of holiday chamber bucks. This is a great promotion for the community. An individual can purchase up to $500 of Holiday Chamber Bucks for $450. They can be purchased at any of the banks in town. Motion to approve up to $60,000 by Kelsey, Second: Lori. Motion approved.

Trick-or-Treat on Main Street. Will be ran the same as last year. Bingo cards will be picked up at the nursing home. It will run from 3:30 to 5:00.

Ladies Shopping Night: will be held November 29th.

Don’t forget to go online to nominate candidates for Wagner Area Growth’s annual awards.

October 27th at 9:00 a.m., there will be a cracker barrel at Boom’s with the current candidates.
