For only a dollar, the cheer team is selling Candy Grams through December 17 to Avon students and staff. They are hoping to spread Christmas cheer and raise money for the cheer team. The profits will be used for sponsoring the “fan-of-the-game,” pep rally supplies, Homecoming décor, and Game Day Packages…a new venture. This has been their best Candy Gram sale to date topping out at almost 650 Christmas wishes!

Candy Grams are candy canes with a cute “to and from” tag. Students and staff have the option of writing fun and festive messages on the tag. Many kids buy them for their friends. Some teachers will buy them for their whole class. It's a great way to spread Christmas cheer. Candy Grams can be convenient for people that want to get something for their friends for Christmas that isn’t going to burn a whole in their pocket.

Candy Grams will be handed out by the cheerleaders and a mystery “Santa and his Elf” on December 18.
