AC/DC LADY THUNDER ON A WINNING STREAK

The Lady Thunder defeated Freeman Academy/ Marion on September 10th 3-0. Leading the kills was Halle Olson with 8, Josie Brouwer had 6, Madelyn Janis 4, Audrey DeHaan 3, Mahpiya Irvin 2 and Cami Ronfeldt 1.

WAGNER FALLS TO GREGORY IN 5 SETS

The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to face the Gregory Spikers on Thursday, September 12th. The Lady Red Raiders put up a good fight but fell short in the 5th set. Scores of the match were 23-25, 20-25, 25-12, 25-23 and 7-15.

LADY RED RAIDERS BACK SWEEP PANTHERS IN 5 SETS

The Wagner Volleyball team faced the Platte/Geddes Panthers on Tuesday, September 10th for our homecoming match. The Lady Red Raiders pulled off a back sweep thriller and defeated the Panthers with scores of 23-25, 23-25, 25-20, 25-8, and 15-9.

RAIDERS FALL TO MOUNT VERNON IN HOMECOMING GAME

The Red Raiders hosted Mount Vernon for their Homecoming on Friday, September 13th and took a tough loss with a final score of 6-36. Red Raiders couldn’t get the ball rolling from the start.

WAGNER CROSS COUNTRY A SUCCESS AT SCOTLAND MEET

It was a warm day Monday, September 9th when the teams came to the start line at the Scotland Cross Country Invitational Meet. The weather tends to get hotter sometimes in September and the runners have to forge through. Weather is often an issue for runners, no matter what the season!

PIRATES DEFEAT COUGARS 60-7

Avon Pirates hosted the Burke Cougars Friday night where took the big win 60-7. The first quarter found Grayson Ratzlaff with a 84 yard kickoff return for 6 and Aziah Meyer had the 2-point conversion.

THUNDERHAWKS RUSH PAST JAGUARS FOR THE WIN

The Thunderhawks traveled to Corsica last Friday night, September 6th with the Thunderhawks’ dominating the Jaguars to come away with a 46-12 victory. The Corsica/Stickney Jaguars were rated #3 in class 9B football before the game.

WAGNER RAIDERS HOME OPENER ENDS WITH THE WIN 27-0

The Wagner Red Raiders home opener ends in a win. The Red Raiders welcomed in last years 11B state champions the Hot Springs Bison. Raiders were able to out pace them with a final score of 270. Leading the way was junior QB Gannon Knebel with 225 rushing yards and 2 rushing Touch downs.
