WAGNER SWEEPS SCOTLAND IN 3 STRAIGHT SETS

The Wagner volleyball team traveled to Scotland on October 8th to face the Highlanders. The Lady Red Raiders came away with the win in three straight sets with scores of 25-22, 25-13, and 25-11.

Wagner Community School welcomed Kelly Cimpl as the new school prevention nurse/temporary HS counselor for the 20242025 school year. Before taking this position with the school, Kelly had been working as a Community Health Nurse for the past 11 years.

LADY PIRATES SWEEP MENNO 3-0

Avon traveled to Marion on Monday, September 30th and earned the win 3-0. Leading the attack was Rilyn Thury with 11 kills, and Lila Vanderlei had 9. Lila Vanderlei had 15 digs on the night with Jordyn Voigt 13 and Macy Voigt 8. Kaeli Wallinga had 4 solo blocks and Brielle Voigt had 21 set assists.

PIRATES REMAIN UNDEFEATED

The Pirates remain undefeated after their big win last Friday night against TDA/AC/ DC at Armour 30-26.

LADY THUNDER SUFFER TOUGH LOSSES

BATTLE OF THE UNDEFEATED ENDS WITH THUNDERHAWKS LOSS TO PIRATES

Friday night of October 4th saw the Tripp-Delmont/ Armour/Andes Central/Dakota Christian Thunderhawks hosting the Avon Pirates at Armour’s football field. This was a very exciting match up as both teams came into the game with a 5-0, undefeated record.

RAIDERS SUFFER TOUGH LOSS TO ELK POINT/JEFFERSON

The Red Raiders suffered defeat by score of 8-49 against Elk Point- Jefferson. The lone Red Raiders TD was thrown late in the 4th Quarter by Cruise Koupal to Beau Otte. Defensively the Raiders were led in tackles by Hunter Lhotak and Shea Kjeldgaard who both are credited for 6 tackles a piece.
