LADY RED RAIDERS BATTLE WITH BURKE

The Wagner volleyball team hosted the Burke Lady Cougars on Monday, October 28th for their last regular season match. The Lady Raiders battled and played one of their best matches against a tough Burke team. The Red Raiders lost in 4 sets with scores of 21-25, 25-15, 10-25, and 20-25.

AVON LADY PIRATES VOLLEYBALL RESULTS

Avon hosted Menno on Friday night, October 25th where they took the loss 0-3. Jordyn Voigt had the lone ace serve for the night. Leading the attack was Lila Vanderlei with 9 and Rilyn Thury had 7. Jordyn Voigt had 21 digs, Lila Vanderlei had 15 and Brielle Voigt added 13.

LADY THUNDER HOSTS KIMBALL/WHITE LAKE

AC/DC hosted Kimball/White Lake on Monday night, October 21. Despite some great effort, the Thunder came up short after 5 sets to take the loss 2-3.

DEHAAN AND NIEWENHUIS RUN AT STATE CROSS COUNTRY MEET

After their state-qualifying finishes at the region meet on October 16, Aspen Niewenhuis and Eilie DeHaan traveled to Hart Ranch in Rapid City on Saturday, October 26 to compete at the 2024 State Cross Country Meet. Congratulations, AC/DC Thunder Cross Country team on a great season!

WAGNER COMMUNITY SCHOOL

The Wagner Community School hired Emily Janak as a Special Education teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Emily is originally from Huron, and is now living in Scotland. She has been teaching going on 17 years.
