WAGNER TRAVELS TO O'NEILL

The Lady Raiders traveled to O’Neill to take on the Eagles last Tuesday in girls basketball action. Wagner would put together an impressive first half taking a 30-18 lead into the locker room. The second half would be a huge turn of events.

The JV would put up a battle only to find themselves losing 35-45. They also would play with excessive energy. They would lead 30-28 going into the 4th and the trail by 2 late and have to foul. Parkston would knock down 8 straight free throws. Braelyn Scott would lead the Raiders with 13 points.

Avon hosted Freeman Academy/Marion on February 13 where they suffered the tough loss 53-70. Dominic Doomand Al'Shamon Gunter were the players in double-digits with Doom sinking 13 and Gunter 12.

The Andes Central/Dakota Christian varsity basketball team lost Tuesday's home game against Tripp-Delmont/Armour by a score of 49-46. Leading all players was Tate Elk Soldier with 21 points and 1 steal.

LADY THUNDER BASKETBALL ACTION

The Lady Thunder hosted Tripp-Delmont-Armour in girls basketball action last Tuesday. The girls came out fighting, taking an 8 point lead at the end of the first quarter, 17-9. Their momentum continued through the game, pushing them to a big 64-22 win.

RAIDERS BASKETBALL ACTION

The Red Raider boys played Spirit Lake Iowa at the Pentagon in Sioux Falls on Saturday. The boys started out well, scoring 19 points in the first quarter and led 28-20 at half time. Spirit Lake opened the second half on a 9-0 run to take a 1 point lead.

Monday, January 13th, 2025 Tonight, the full moon syndrome was out in full force. Although the girls look graceful in what they do, for many, tonight keeping the routines connected and clean proved to be difficult. There were many unusual falls on every event. There were also some season bests.

The Lady Raiders hosted the Elk Point Jefferson Huskies last Tuesday night in girls basketball action. Wagner would take a 3-2 lead and then it would be all Elk Point the entire way. They would jump out to a 16-4 lead and hold a 17-9 advantage after the first.
