The Tom Studelska Invitational was held in Wagner on Saturday, February 1st. Results from the invite for Bon Homme/Avon were: 106 Ryvr Larson (31-2) placed 1st and scored 26.5 team points: Champ.
Avon hosted Marty on Monday, January 27th and despite playing a great game, suffered the tough loss 71-85. Aziah Meyer, Al'Shamon Gunter and Dominic Doom were the players in double-digits with Meyer sinking 20, Gunter 16 and Doom 12.
Avon girls hosted Burke on Tuesday, January 28th where they took the win 43-40 to bring their record to 8-5. Lila Vanderlei and Rilyn Thury were the players in double-digits with Vanderlei sinking 17 points and Thury 13.

The Lady Raiders traveled to Scotland last Thursday night in girls’ basketball action to take on the Trappers of Scotland-Menno in LMVC conference action. Wagner would storm out of the gate and take a commanding 27-3 lead after the first and then a 45-7 lead into the half.
The Lady Raiders took on the Milbank Bulldogs this past Saturday in at the Sacred Hoops Classic in Huron. Wagner jumped out to an early 15-7 lead and cruised to a 37-13 halftime lead. Wagner would increase their lead to 61-26 entering the final quarter and come away with the victory 67-37.
The C team game away with a nice win 35-24. Clarah Soukup led all scorers with 19 points. Kaymari Drapeau added 6, while TyShay Medicine Bear and Peytyn Wiechmann each added 5 points.
