PIRATES DEFEAT COLOME 77-23

BOYS BASKETBALL

AC/DC boys traveled to Kimball last Thursday, February 20th and won their last regular season game against the WiLdKats. The final score of the game resulted in 58-40. No further stats were provided at the time of publication.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

The Thunder varsity girls traveled to Avon to participate in the GPAC on Saturday, February 15th where they faced the Centerville Tornadoes. AC/DC fought hard, but struggled to pass up Centerville as they kept an average 10 point lead on them every quarter.

REGION 3B BOYS WRESTLING TOURNAMENT

The AC/DC boys wrestling team traveled to Wagner on Saturday, February 22 to compete in the Region 3B Boys Wrestling Tournament. Results for the Thunder boys are: 106 James Derry (1-28) place is unknown and scored 0.0 team points: Champ.
Luke Dangel placed 6th in the Region Wrestling tournament. Congratulations Thunder on a great season!

REGION 3 WRESTLING TOURNAMENT RESULTS

The SDHSAA Region 3B Wrestling Tournament was held in Wagner on Saturday, February 22 with three wrestlers earning their way to state: Frank Krcil, Thayne Tjeerdsma and Gannon Knebel. 106 Frank Krcil (35-16) placed 3rd and scored 15.5 team points: Champ.

LADY RAIDERS BASKETBALL ACTION

“Defensively, we clamped down on them and really forced them into some tough shots. Even on some of the shots they made it was like wow how did that go in. Offensively, we did a great job in transition running the floor without the basketball which led to some easy buckets on the offensive end.

WAGNER CLOSED OUT REGULAR SEASON ON THE ROAD

The Lady Raiders traveled to Platte to take on the Platte-Geddes Black Panthers last Friday in girls basketball action. The Raiders would jump all over the Panther’s the first quarter taking a 22-3 lead after the first quarter and then a 37-12 lead into the half.
