RAIDER BOYS BASKETBALL SEASON RECAP

The Wagner Boys Basketball team finished their season in the first week of March. The team finished with an 1111 record. Parker Petry led the team in many categories including, points scored, field goal percentage and field goals made.

CONGRATS ON A GREAT SEASON LADIES!

Coaching these ladies is a blast and they had lots of fun together this season which makes it even that much more enjoyable as a coach. Every season has its highs and lows and the great thing is we ended it on a high, appearing in the state tournament and finishing with a dub!

YOST AND NAGEL RECEIVE GPAC HONORS

Wagner graduates and basketball standouts Emma Yost and Shalayne Nagel who both play for the Dakota Wesleyan University Women’s Basketball team received GPAC All-Conference Honors. Yost was named to the GPAC First Team and Nagel received Honorable Mention.

GATORADE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

CHICAGO (March 13, 2025) —In its 40th year of honoring the nation’s most elite high school athletes, Gatorade today announced Ashlyn Koupal of Wagner High School is the 2024-25 Gatorade South Dakota Girls Basketball Player of the Year.

LADY RAIDERS PLACE 7TH AT STATE A'S

The Lady Raiders headed out to Spearfish this last weekend for the girls class A state tournament. Wagner opened up with the undefeated Mahpiya Luta. Wagner would find themselves trailing 15-14 after the first period then trailing by 9 at the half.

BON HOMME - SCOTLAND - AVON GIRLS WRESTLE AT STATE

sistant Coach It was a great weekend for both the Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon girls wrestling team (5th) and Bon Homme/Avon boys team (6th) at the state tournament in Rapid City on February 27, 28, and March 1.

THUNDER BOYS BASKETBALL ACTION

AC/DC boys hosted the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars Friday, March 7th at Dakota Christian. Both teams played great and gave it their all, having the game go into overtime. However, the Jaguars were just one hoop ahead, resulting in the Thunder boys suffering a loss of 45-47.

RAIDER BOYS BASKETBALL ACTION

WAGNER BOYS WIN FIRST ROUND GAME The Wagner boys won their opening round post season game Friday night at home against Bon Homme. It took a while for the boys to knock the rusts off after a 2 week break between games.
