Tyndall Relays On Tuesday, April 22, Wagner’s track and field team traveled to Tyndall to participate in the Jim Flevares Relays. Ashlyn Koupal would capture both the high jump and shot put titles at this meet. She jumped 5’ 2” to win the high jump.

WAGNER VARSITY RED RAIDERS FALL TO SCOTLAND/MENNO

The Wagner Varsity Red Raiders struggled to find momentum Monday evening, falling 13-2 to a strong Scotland/Menno squad. Scotland/Menno jumped out to an early lead in the first inning when Trinity Bietz grounded out to bring in the game's opening run.

Avon Invitational Track Meet was held Thursday, April 17th with Darla Van Gerpen being named Honorary Referee of the meet.

LADY PIRATES SOFTBALL ACTION

Macy Voigt hit two home runs and drove in four as the Avon Lady Pirates defeated Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 17-11 on Monday, April 14th. Voigt homered in the fifth and fourth innings.

The Wagner Community School’s Varsity golf team swung into their season on Friday, April 11th when they participated in the Class B Classic in Mitchell at Lakeview at 10:30 a.m. This meet was one of their toughest of the season.
