AC/DC brought 15 athletes over to the State Track Meet held at Howard Wood in Sioux Falls, May 29-31st. Several athletes competed in multiple events across Sabas DeHaan truly shined this last weekend as surpassed his previous records of 23.12 in the 200M dash and 51.01 in the 400M dash.

RAIDERS FALL AFTER STRONG SHOWING BY THE LADY QUARRIERS Wagner Varsity Red Raiders couldn't keep up with Dell Rapids Varsity Lady Quarriers and fell 12-3 to Dell Rapids on Tuesday, May 27th.

Submitted by Coach Matt Slaba Wagner took seven athletes to compete in the South Dakota State Track and Field Championships May 29-31 in Sioux Falls. Ashlyn Koupal was competing in the high jump and was vying for her 5th consecutive state title.

The Lady Pirates opened the scoring in the first after Pria Sessler singled, scoring one run. The Pirates tried to rally when they scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Ashlyn Koupal has had herself a year as she continues to pile up the honors: Class A Girls Basketball Player of the Year, three-time first-team All-State, two-time Mitchell Republic Player of the Year, and now, she's added “Elite Eight Athlete” to her already stacked resume.
