WEEK 7 UPDATES OF LEGISLATIVE SESSION

With week 7 of the session completed we have come to the final 2 weeks of the 2020 Legislative Session. Every bill was moved out of its body of origin by the end of Thursday, February 27th. So far Governor Noem has signed 28 House and 10 Senate bills into law.

PROVERBS 27:19 “As in water face answereth face, to the heart of man to man.”(KJV) This Proverb is telling us that the water reflects the face as a mirror reflects the face. You cannot deny what the mirror or the water reflects, they can only reflect the image that is there.

As we finished week 6, we are now 2/3 done with the 2020 legislative session. This week Thursday, February 27th is Cross Over Day in which every bill has to be moved out of the legislative body it originated in and then go to the other chamber for action.

NEWS From The Legislature By Rocky Blare SD District 21 Senator Every week the pace picks up in the legislature. We ended up with 293 House Bills and 186 Senate Bills introduced as of February 13. Tuesday morning, the Judiciary committee sent SB96 to the Senate.

COLORADO WOLVES? THE VOTERS WILL PROBABLY DECIDE.

As much as I believe in our democratic process and our right to vote, there’s one place, in my opinion, where we must stay out of it. I’m talking about wildlife management. These decisions must be left up to the wildlife biologists.

TRI-COUNTY RIGHT TO LIFE MEETS

The Tri-County Right To Life group met at the Dakota Christian School at 7:00 pm on Monday, February 17, 2020. There were 15 members present.
