PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Wheat Growers Association (SDWGA) is pleased to announce that Jennifer Scharpe has been named executive director, effective October 1, 2025.

Wagner Area Farmers Market came to a close in October after a summer of community fun! The year began with a huge change as the market was moved from Wagner City Park to Wagner Lake due to road construction and dust.

Pam Altenburg teaches 6th-8th English Language Arts and was born and raised in Yankton. Pam's love for Language Arts is not just current to her teachings, it has been her favorite subject throughout her days as a student as well.

Jayshaun has made fantastic progress in first grade. He stays focused on his daily work until it is finished. He follows our classroom procedures and helps his classmates when they need assistance.

WORKING HARD TO EARN SCHOLARSHIPS AT RECENT BLOOD DRIVE Students at Wagner High School proved that leadership and generosity go hand in hand during their recent LifeServe Blood Center Scholarship Blood Drive.

On Friday, October 10th the whole team travelled to Winner. It was a small competition in which everyone gained a lot of experience and received some great feedback.
