The Lady Red Raiders hosted the Fighting Cougars of McCook Central/Montrose in the first round of region play on Tuesday, November 5th. The Lady Red Raiders swept the Cougars in three straight sets with scores of 25-21, 25-22, and 25-23.

Ravyn Medricky led all attackers throwing down 15 kills, Hannah Holzbauer tallied 9, Braxton Nedved added 4, while Brylie Link and Adara Hopkins each had 3 in the win. Nedved dished out 28 assists to her hitters. Holzbauer led behind the service line racking up 11 points/3 aces, Brianna Fuchs tallied 11 points/1 ace, Nedved added 6 points/1 ace, while Link and Medricky each earned 4 points. In the back court Nedved led the defense scrambling for 20 digs, Holzbauer and Medricky each picked up 14, and Libby Kotab added 11. Medricky put up 3 solo blocks while Holzbauer and Mateya Bruguier each earned 1.
