The Wagner C team played its final game of the year Monday against Beresford. The boys fell to the Watchdawgs 34-18. Damien Red Lighting scored a team high 7 points, Gannon Shields added 5, Winston Little Moon and Jeremy Cheyenn each scored 3. The JV boys also finished their year on Monday night. Colton Zephier and Leon Fields each made three 3 pointers and scored 9 points a piece for Wagner. Payne Petry scored 6 and Winston Little Moon scored 2 points for Wagner.

The Wagner varsity boys basketball team took on Bersford Monday night, this was the final game of the regular season for the boys. Beresford shot the ball well early in the game and had an 11-2 lead in the first period. Wagner went on a few runs in the first half and trailed by 6 at half time. Beresford made some 3 pointers early in the third quarter and built an 13 point lead. The Raiders adjusted their defense and made some shots in the fourth quarter and cut the Watchdawg lead to 1 point late. That was as close as Wagner would get, they lost the game 51-56. Parker Petry eld a balanced Wagner scoring attack with 12 points, Brady Cournoyer scored 11 points and had 8 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. Jesse Zephier scored 11 points and had 4 assists. Carlos Galindo scored 10 points and had 7 assists. Preston McFayden scored 5 points and had 5 rebounds, Ky Arpan scored 3 points and had 2 rebounds. The boys will start post season play Tuesday March 4th in Wanger.
