Area veterans were recognized at a community Veterans Day program on Tuesday, November 11, in the Wagner School gym. Veterans in attendance introduced themselves and where and when they served. Music was provided by the All State quartets, 5th and 6th grade, 7th and 8th grade, and high school choruses. The event closed with the playing of Taps by Carlos Galindo and Connor Gabel.

Presenting and retiring the colors were Steven Langdeau, Cruise Koupal, Matthew Kokes, Lola Weddell, Lane Havranek, and Lyric Martin.

The folding of the flag demonstration was done by Isabelle Myer, Taeya Havranek, Jaxton Hill, and Grady Bartunek as each of the 13 folds and its meaning were explained.
