Avon faced off against Ethan at home Thursday, January 9th where the took the loss 47-71. Al'Shamon Gunter and Dominic Doom were the players in double-figures against Ethan with Gunter sinking 22 of Doom 10. The team was 43% from the field with 18 of 42, 23% for 3-point attempts with 3 of 13, 52% for 2-point attempts with 15 of 29 and 38% from the charity stripe with 8 of 21. The team committed 23 turnovers on the night Avon Pirates hosted Alcester/Hudson on Tuesday night, January 7th. The boys played a great game, but as the buzzer sounded found themselves down 34-65.
