The AC/DC Thunder volleyball team hosted the Thunder Nation Volleyball Tournament on Saturday where they took home 2nd place, congratulations girls!

The first game of the tourney found AC/DC facing off at the net with Colome where they took the win 2-0. Josie Brouwer had 7 kills, 8 digs and 1 ace serve; Halle Olson had 6 kills, 3 digs and 1 ace serve; Cami Ronfeldt had 4 kills and 1 dig; Syrianna Never Miss A Shot had 9 digs and 1 ace serve; Madeline Derry had 9 set assists and 1 dig; Madilyn Janis had 7 digs and 1 ace serve.

For the second game the Thunder took on Wessington Springs where they took win 2-0. Olson had 6 kills, 4 digs and 3 ace serves; Ronfeldt had 3 kills and 2 digs; Brouwer had 2 kills and 8 digs; Audrey DeHaan had 1 kill and 3 digs; Never Miss A Shot had 17 digs and 2 ace serves; Derry had 13 set assists, 2 digs and 2 ace serves; Janis had 6 digs and 2 ace serves.

AC/DC's final game of the tournament found them facing off with Bridgewater/Emery where they suffered the loss 0-2. Brouwer had 3 kills, 9 digs and 1 ace serve; Olson had 2 kills and 4 digs; Never Miss A Shot had 1 kill, 1 set assist, 9 digs and 2 ace serves; Ronfeldt had 1 kill; Janis had 1 kill, 1 ace block and 1 ace serve; DeHaan had 1 kill, 1 ace block, 9 digs and 1 ace serve; Derry had 5 set assists.
