As part of the 125th Labor Day Celebration, a few nostalgic favorites returned to the schedule, bringing back fond memories for some and new excitement for others. One such event was the Kids Money Sand Pile, held Sunday morning on Main Street by James Drug.
The event drew a lively crowd of eager youngsters, all ready to dig into the sand in search of hidden quarters. Laughter and excitement filled the air as kids scrambled to find as many coins as they could, with proud smiles and sandy hands marking a successful morning.
Bringing back this classic tradition was a hit with the kids. The Kids Money Sand Pile proved to be a joyful nod to the past and a fun-filled moment in the present, perfectly fitting for the milestone celebration. Photography by Denelle
