SUMMER READING PROGRAM KICK OFF

HOMETOWN HEROES: SESSION 1-POLICE OFFICERS
By
SUMMER READING PROGRAM KICK OFF
Avon Public Library kicked off their Summer Reading Program with a heroic start Monday, June 9. Avon’s very own Officer Ed Young joined them at the library to read a special story, answer lots of great kid questions and even let the kids explore his police pickup! A huge thank you to Officer Ed Young for his service and for taking time to be with our young patrons. You’re a true hometown hero! Over 50 young readers joined for this exciting day. After storytime, they enjoyed a fun craft and some tasty snacks — donuts and apples with caramel! Each young reader collected five trading cards for attending the first session!
