BonHomme/Scotland/Avon will take seven girls to the state wrestling tournament this Thursday-Friday-Saturday, February 27, 28, March 1 at The Monument in Rapid City. Two seventh graders, Sydney Johnson-107 is 17-21, andHarperKracht-120is34-22; two Sophomores Jasmine Ruelas- Hertz is 35-13 seeded fifth, and Hadlee Kracht-126 is 49-14 seeded seventh; Junior Hope Kemnitz-185 is 22-19 seeded tenth; and two Seniors Peyton Hellman-145 is the top seed at 41-0, and Ashley Tolsma-152 is 34-14 seeded fifth.

The first round is Thursday startingat10:00mountaintime with the second session (quarter finals) at 4:00. Wrestling begins Friday at 9:30 with two rounds of wrestlebacks and continues with the semi-finals and another two rounds of wrestlebacks at 3:30. The placement matches (3rd-5th-7th) will be Saturday starting at 10:00 with the championship matches scheduled for 1:00.
