The Wagner Cross Country team held their local cross country meet on Monday, September 16, in Pickstown. It was another hot day for the runners and they gave it their all. Again, several of our runners came in and medaled among the top ranking runners. It was also a beautiful day to recognize our Senior Cross Country runners from Wagner.

The Seniors on our team have been nothing short of a blessing! Cross Country seniors are Jackson Rolston, Lydia Yost, and Presley Slaba. These three runners have been a very positive example to the rest of our team. This is very important when you look at how young our team is this year; we have one freshman, two eighth graders, and the rest are sixth and seventh graders. Our Seniors have led our team with great pride and respect. They have taught the rest of our team that running is the best way to make a bad day good. They have shown us that, even when a run may be hard, you keep going just as you do in life. We are proud of all three of our Seniors and truly admire them for their dedication and great talent.
