Senior Spotlight

ELLA HAMILTON
By
: Hadlee Kracht And Irelynn Small
Our senior spotlight of the week is Ella Jayde Hamilton. She was born on August 17th, 2008 to Reno and Jayde Hamilton. Her favorite subject in school is anatomy because she really likes the class, and she also has a lot of fun and learns so much. We asked her what the most challenging task as a senior is. She responded with, “all of the advanced classes I'm taking.” One activity that Ella likes to do in her spare time is color. She says “it is very relaxing and a good thing to wind down with.” She also loves playing cards with her family. Ella said, “life gets busy, so it's nice to spend time with them. One inspirational quote that she lives by is: “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own” - Matthew 6:34. Some of Ella’s favorite high school activities are going to all of the home games to see the kids at our school doing what they love. Then, she enjoys getting to talk in the parking lot after a lot of the games. One memory that she will remember forever is sitting in her study halls and talking about the most random things. Her proudest moment so far is going to state oral interp and winning a superior with distinction with her duet. Ella’s role models are her parents because they have made her who she is today. They taught her that she is going to have to work hard for what she wants and not to give up. They also taught her how to be a good person for our world. We asked her if high school prepared her for her life outside of AHS. She responded with “I believe so. Everybody pushes you to do your best and encourages you the whole way. In all of my classes, it isn't just about that specific subject: they teach you life lessons.” Some of her future plans include becoming an elementary school teacher and hopefully becoming a teacher in Avon someday. She also really wants to go to SDSU. Some of her advice for underclassmen is “to not take the short amount of high school you have for granted.” As Reno Hamilton always says, “Days go slow but years go fast, live your life to the fullest.” We asked her what she would miss most about AHS and she said, “Honestly everything. Getting to talk to everyone and having a fun time.” We will miss you Ella!
