The Pirates remain undefeated after their big win last Friday night against TDA/AC/ DC at Armour 30-26. Avon started off slow as they ended the first half 0-12 but showed up in the second half scoring 2 touchdowns in the third quarter and holding the Thunderhawks to 1 touchdown to end the third quarter down 16-18. The fourth quarter had the Pirates adding 2 more touchdowns to the scoreboard and holding the Thunderhawks again to 1 touchdown to end the fourth 30-16. Aziah Meyer rushed for 169 yards and 3 touchdowns, Landon Mudder rushed for 100 yards and 1 touchdown and Easton Sees rushed for 13 yards. On the defense Meyer had 6 tackles, 7 assists and 1 sack; Trenton Soukup had 4 tackles and 1 assist; Kahle Hill had 4 tackles and 9 assists; Mudder had 3 tackles and 7 assists; Randall Powers had 3 tackles 4 assists; Al'Shamon Gunter had 3 tackles, 14 assists and 1 sack; Grayson Ratzlaff had 2 tackles and 4 assists; Dominic Doom had 1 tackle and 2 assists; Treyvan Talsma had 1 tackle, 1 assist and 1 sack for the night; and Devin Rucktaeschel had 2 assists.
