Library board meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 25th at the library at 4:45. The meeting is open to the public.

The library bookclub meets Thursday, June 26th at the library at 5:00, for our monthly discussion of our selected reading this month which is “Cottage by the Sea” by Debbie McComber. If you would be interested in joining or have a group that would like to start your own bookclub please attend on Thursday, or contact the library for more information.

You may have noticed activity going on at the back of the library. The children’s garden is being constructed as we speak. We have planted cucumbers, pollinator flowers and butterfly milkweed. Yes, milkweed! The type that may be a bain to your existence is common milkweed. We have planted butterfly milkweed, which is more attractive to a monarch butterfly, though they can be found on common milkweed.

Watch for posters promoting the free library program by Ventriloquist, Will Stuck on Wed. July 2nd at 10:30 at the Community Center on Main Street.
