City Library News. 6-18-25 The Library will be observing Juneteenth by being closed to the public on June 19th. The library will open again on Friday, the 20th.

The library is participating in the Scavenger’s Journey by preparing a listing of local rummage sales, being held on June 20th, 21st and 22nd. The listing can be picked up at the library beginning at 7:00 a.m. on June 20th for a donation to the library. A used book sale which includes DVDs, puzzles and learning games for children will be held on June 20th and 21st.

The library has hired a ventriloquist to perform in Lake Andes as part of the Summer Programming. Will Stuck, a ventriloquist will be performing on July 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at the Community Center at 207 Main St. This is open to the public, so save the date and bring a friend or two. There is no charge for the program.
