The Census figures for Charles Mix County have improved since the article that the Wave printed on June 17th. As of Friday the 26th, Charles Mix County now shows that 40% of residents have completed the census. Lake Andes has had a major improvement from 9.3% to 27%. This is great, but we still have a long way to go. Ask your friends if they have completed the census. If you have completed your census, tell others how easy it was to complete. Remember the library is having a raffle for an I-pad for those completing the census. A computer is set aside for those wanting to complete the census on-line. It takes about 10 minutes to complete.

The on-line app readsquared which is being used to track the books read by anyone wanting to participate in the summer reading program at the library. It is easy to use and includes fun, learning activities for readers of all ages to complete. Incentives will be earned as you go through the summer.

Questions call during library hours 487-7524 or message the library through Facebook.
