Summer Reading Program begins this week at the Library virtually. The theme this year is Imagine Your Story. The programming started June 15th and concludes on July 17th. The library will be posting videos of library personnel reading storybooks, presenting puppet shows and explaining craft ideas. Activity packets are being prepared for each registered student and may be picked up at the library, through our curb side service for children to complete at home.

Again, the library is supporting reading during the summer. The State Library is promoting this effort and is hoping to have 100,000 readers ages 0-100 across the state this summer. To participate in the library’s incentive program you will need to sign up with the Readsquared app. Once registered you will be able to access the program and investigate the requirements. If you need help please reach out to the library. The library is open for checking out books, but we ask that you use hand sanitizer and masks during your visit. Masks and hand sanitizer are available for your use.

The library is promoting the completion of the 2020 Census. See the article elsewhere in this issue of the Wave.
