LADY THUNDER BASKETBALL ACTION

AC/DC HOSTS TRIPP-DELMONTARMOUR IN LAKE ANDES

The Lady Thunder hosted Tripp-Delmont-Armour in girls basketball action last Tuesday. The girls came out fighting, taking an 8 point lead at the end of the first quarter, 17-9. Their momentum continued through the game, pushing them to a big 64-22 win.

Mahpiya Irving lead all players with 29 points and 5 assists. Also contributing were Josie Brouwer with 15 points and 4 assists, and Halle Olson with 6 points, 5 rebounds, 7 steals, and 3 blocks. Gabriella Olson assisted with 8 rebounds and Nadia Van Zuidam had 6 rebounds and 3 steals.

The girls are now 7-2 and will face off against the Scotland/Menno Trappers on Tuesday, January 17 at Andes Central.
