Just Thought I'd Ask

WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

By

MATTHEW 6: 28-34 "Why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothed the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?" Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? Or where with-all shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things."(KJV)

What should we do?

He said in verse 30, " O, ye of little faith."

We must realize that God, our Creator, knows what the lilies of the field need, and they are tiny little things, He also in His infinite mind can see and know what each and every person needs even before they need it.

God tells us that He will provide all we need according to His riches in glory.

The little flowers do nothing for Him,and yet He provides the sun and sufficient rain for them to spring up and glorify Him by their beauty which He supplied.

We are His creation that He wants to love, Honor and obey Him. Without His provisions of food and water and clothes and so on, we would just dry up as a lily in the field without sun and water.

For us to be able to love, honor and obey Him, He knows just exactly what we need to follow His plan. But there is a condition to receiving all that we need and that is mentioned in MATTHEW 6: 33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you."(KJV)

You should increase your faith in God's provisions. You should seek first the kingdom of God- and then you will have all that you need. While you are doing as He requires He will do for you all that you need.

God always requires something of you first then if you do what He wants He always will do what He says He will. You do and He will. That is a promise that He will not brake.
