MANY POSSESSIONS MANY PROBLEMS

P ROVERBS 15:16 Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasures and troubles therewith.

All PROVERBS have messages that separate the thoughts of the reader.

In this PROVERB verse we see 'Better is little with the fear of the Lord' It is not necessary for one to have all sorts of things in their possession in order for them to be happy. But being close to the Lord and the Lord close to them will help them to be pleased with what they have-even if it is little.

The verse goes on to say, 'than great treasure and trouble therewith' It is quite knowledgeable that those who have a multitude of treasures to their account also come with a need to look after them. The troubles that come with them require making sure that they are in workable condition; put up so that some one else doesen't steal them. This requires a place to protect them and the maintain ace of this protection.

Like a house--big, new and fenced in, cars, boats, and trailers properly and so on. All this concern for their possessions will cause them trouble over time only to one day die and leave them all behind.

These people are always trying to up-grade all that they have to have personal satisfaction in having them. Therefore--the little you have the less problems you will have and the happier you will be.

The Bible tells us to be content with those things that the Lord provides.

Being close to God and Him being close to you is better by far than any other way.

Are you content with all that you have?
