HOW IS IT GOING FOR YOU?

PROVERBS 27:20 : Hell and destruction are never full: So the eyes of man are never satisfied."(KJV) The second half of this verse brings out a description of many people today.

People are not satisfied with what they have, but are always trying to get more.

People, who by God's grace, have a comfortable home but are thinking they could have a bigger, better home, in a better neighborhood, and so on, rather than be satisfied with what they have. They could be homeless, live in a cardboard box with no home at all.

People who have a lot of money are not satisfied to have enough to live on and have some to spare, but are always seeking ways to gain more.

A rich man was asked, "You have all this money and anything you want you just buy it. What more would you want? He answered "more", never satisfied.

Seems that whatever a person has been blessed with they always want more.

They will spend their life trying to reach some goal that they think might be satisfying only to find that after they reach their goal it is not satisfying to them so they, instead of being satisfied with what they have they just keep setting additional goals, which to them never seem to be satisfying.

If people would spend as much time in trying to please God and never seem to themselves to be doing enough for the cause of Christ would put in as much effort to please the Lord as they do to please themselves,they would be receiving much more from the Lord then they would be expecting He always gives more to those who serve Him, and they would be satisfying the Lord in their life.

If done God's way, God's Word says in Luke 6:38 "Give and it shall be given unto you: good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom, for with the same measure that ye meet withal it shall be measured to you again."(KJV)

A sure way to be satisfied in your life is to do it God's Way
